Snugly Codex-dev models are expensive

Okay, quick rant.

I’ve been working on Snugly Codex, and I finally understand why everyone says “don’t run AI agents too much.” This thing is firing off requests like it’s trying to speedrun bankruptcy.

Every tiny action becomes:

read file

check folder

compare stuff

generate patch

verify patch

panic and read file again

etc etc etc

Suddenly I’m looking at 50+ API calls just because I asked it to fix one line of code.

And the token usage… Oh man. The token usage.

Let’s just say I used to run the “fancy luxury models,” but after seeing the invoice, I immediately downgraded to the “budget-friendly please-don’t-kill-my-wallet” models.

So yeah, the system still works — just… economically. If you want to try the premium models or feel like sponsoring my suffering, contact me. My wallet and I thank you.
