The Forgotten Depths

Beneath the crushing waves of the mid-Atlantic lies *Abyssal-9*, a top-secret deep-sea research facility studying abyssal lifeforms. After a violent tremor shakes the complex, communications with the surface are lost. The facility is plunged into darkness, lit only by emergency lighting. As you make your way through flooded hallways and creaking bulkheads, you hear sounds—wet, organic, and moving. Water pressure looms as an ever-present threat, and something ancient stirs in the pitch-black depths beyond the viewing glass. Supplies are dwindling, oxygen is rationed, and the deeper you go, the stranger and more alien the life becomes.

A pipe bursts above, spraying cold seawater across your face.
