Excerpt
From the opening of Deadlight Run
This place is dying.
Once a thriving hub of diamond mining, this space colony on a distant moon now lies abandoned and forgotten.
The large towns around the mines are now very quiet. The streets are empty, and the buildings are falling apart because no one takes care of them. This is a faraway moon that orbits a big gas planet. Many people came here to find diamonds and start a new life. But those days are over.Well, if you are like me, who didn't get off this moon in time what it started to crumbled 5 years ago, there is still good things down here, for example, the air is breathable!, which is quite a big plus, but nothing else really,
there is a lot of dust causing respiratory diseases at times, we see only a few hours of sun because of the dust storm, the food is scarce, neighbors are looters, want to go to the Central City? only if you want to risk your life, own a lot of food? someone is coming for you.
Basically, if you are here with me, we are fucked, and if I meet you in person, you are my customer or we are about to rob each other.
